Steel Blue Nova Pullet Chicks

The Steel Blue Nova is also known in breeder lines as Novogen’s Color Ash (Blue Steel Nova) and was developed as a dual-purpose bird — meaning it’s suitable for both egg laying and general utility in a backyard flock. Bred from a Novogen Rhode Island Red hen crossed with an Ash rooster (Andalusian cross). Developed by Novogen (a French poultry breeding company) with strong genetics focused on robustness and adaptability. They are a very good egg layer — about 300 large brown eggs per year from healthy hens. Chicks are color-sexed at hatch, so pullets (females) can be determined with near 100% gender accuracy.
