Schleich-S Toy, Pteranodon

The Pteranodon was one of the largest pterosaurs in the cretaceous period. The striking bony crest on the rear of it's head provided a counterweight to it's long beak. It probably didn't flap it's wings very often, but instead took advantage of the wind to glide through the air similar to an albatross.
