Bio basics 0-5-0 is a homogenous blend of humic shale and soft rock phosphate made without fillers, binders or other additives. It can be used a starter fertilizer and where it is desired to improve root growth. Additionally, the humic acid in bio basics may also aid in the uptake of micronutrients. Bio basics is a restorative, conditioning formula that can reduce the build-up of salts in all types of soil by releasing and buffering the sodium. The key ingredients fused together is so successful, it's used as a base in a majority of Live Earth's quality granular humic/fertilizer blended products. This mixture contains 7% natural calcium, 5% phosphate and 1.7% iron. It's all-natural concentrated blend of humates, soft rock phosphates and complex calcium, provides essential humic acids to enhance soil conditions. These essential acids have several excellent trace minerals and may aid in the uptake of micronutrients. Naturally, sodium accumulates in soil from fertilizers, pesticides, salt-infused water run-offs and the instinctive breakdown of minerals which release salt. When plant roots take up this excess sodium in the soil, it can cause bad living conditions in a garden.
