The bottom of the pan has inner ribs with square ends that lift the salt block, while the outer bottom rim holds the pan up off the ground so moisture can escape through drain holes. Made of impact-resistant DuraFlex plastic for long wear. Holds a standard 50 lb, mineral block or 10 qt (2.5 gal) of dry material (will not hold water).
