Designed to help you prepare your garden 7-10 days prior to planting, the Season Starter is placed down to help warm the soil and prepare for transplanting. Once in place fill the Insulated Plant Protector with water up to 2/3 full. This creates a folded teepee at the top to start retaining warmth inside. You may either plant a seedling or small 3-4” plants that are more shock resistant. Allow plants to grow inside the plant protector until it starts to grow through. Once plants are taller than the protector, fill the rest of the tubes with water to create a short, round wall of water barrier. We recommend leaving the Season Starter in place while you have cool, cold nights and to keep it in place for 30-45 days after the normal frost date for your zone.
