Blueprint® Sheep-lyx™ is a 16% protein, nutrient-dense supplement designed for all classes of sheep consuming forage-based diets. Blueprint® Sheep-lyx™ contains no added copper. Blueprint® Sheep-lyx™ is uniquely fortified with all highly bioavailable organic trace minerals and contains no inorganic trace mineral forms. The Blueprint product line is intended to provide optimal trace mineral nutrition to meet today’s advanced animal genetic demands while protecting the environment from unnecessary over supply of less available forms. Feeding Instructions CRYSTALYX® BLUEPRINT® SHEEP-LYX™ supplement is designed for self-feeding to all classes of sheep. Place containers in areas that achieve desired supplement intake. Once acceptable intake levels have been achieved, the containers may be moved to underutilized pasture areas to improve grazing distribution and forage utilization. Feed at the rate of one container for every 10-20 head of sheep. A minimum of two (2) containers may be necessary in each lot or pasture to ensure proper accessibility. Self-fed consumption will depend on size of the animals fed, seasonal weather conditions, as well as quality, source and availability of other feeds. Sheep typically consume between 1 and 4 ounces per head per day. ALL CONSUMPTION FIGURES STATED HERE ARE APPROXIMATE. PROVIDE FREE ACCESS TO FRESH, CLEAN WATER AT ALL TIMES. CRYSTALYX® BLUEPRINT® SHEEP-LYX™ CONTAINS NO SALT. PROVIDE SALT FREE-CHOICE. CONTAINS NO ADDED COPPER. CAUTION: USE ONLY AS DIRECTED. Consumption of selenium should not exceed 0.7 mg per head daily for sheep. NOTE: CRYSTALYX® Brand Supplements deliver a continuous supply of nutrients and are designed as a supplement to the animal’s diet. When quantity or quality of other feedstuffs is limited, supplemental nutrients in addition to those provided by CRYSTALYX® Brand Supplements may be required. In situations where additional nutrients are needed, contact your feed representative for specific recommendations.
