Canada Red Chokecherry Tree, #7

Tough, rounded deciduous tree with bright green new growth in spring, maturing to purple by summer. Racemes of single white flowers appear in April, followed by persistent red fruit, aging to purple, that's attractive to wildlife and songbirds. Tolerates heat, cold, wind and poor soil.
