Citadel VL5 and Citadel L5 provides protection against five major Leptospira serovars, including defense against urinary shedding of Leptospira borgpetersenii serovar hardjo (type hardjo-bovis) the serovar primarily responsible for chronic infections. Citadel VL5 has the added benefit of helping protect against infertility, delayed conception or abortion caused by campylobacter fetus.
